Ministries

• Church Council- The leadership team of the church assist the Pastor in the management and supervision of the ministry of the church.  Contact Bro. Michael Love
  
• Christian Education – The foundation ministry that under girds all other ministries of the church in transforming and changing lives through teaching.  Contact Sis. Phyllis Whitaker
  
• Sunday School – Teaching of the Word of God designed for all ages with the emphasis on Exposition Bible study through the books of the Bible.  Contact Bro. Samuel (Shawn) Hartley
  
• Deacon and Deaconess Ministry – Servicing the needs of the congregation through the Deacon Family Plan.  Contact Bro. Easton Fontenot
  
• Music Ministry – Working together in singing praises and playing instruments unto God that gives glory to His name. The choirs are children, youth, adult and male chorus.  Contact Sis. Gladys McKnight
  
• Dance Ministry- Praise dancing to the Lord in worship. Teams are children, youth, young adults and adult women.  Contact Sis. Cheryl Newman
  
• Children’s Ministry- To provide a loving and nurturing environment where children can develop an understanding of God’s Word. Ages (infants to 11 years)  Contact – Sis. Malinda Stevens
  
• Youth Ministry – To impact youth with discipleship development and life skills to impact other youth for Christ. (Ages 12-17)  Contact Sis. Patsy Carston
  
• Young Adult/College & Career Ministry – To equip young adults with life skills and develop a love for God. (Ages 18-25)  Contact Minister and Sis. Tarek Polite
  
• Men’s Ministry – Empowering men to take their rightful biblical place in the family, church, community and world through living out the word of God. Connecting men and boys in mentorship.  Contact Bro. Roosevelt Atkins
  
• Warriors Mentorship – Mentorship program for boys and young men form (ages 12- 19).  Contact Bro. Roosevelt Tanner
  
• Women’s Ministry (Covenant Sisters) – Reaching women for Christ and involving them in service through the use of their Spiritual gifts and talents in support of the church.  Contact First Lady Sis. Patricia Stevens
  
• Ushers and Greeters – Serve by greeting and providing a hospitable atmosphere of acceptance and love to everyone.  Contact - Sis. Patsy James
• S.I.S.T.A (Someone in Spirit Teaching Another) – Minister to girls ages 6-17 with bible studies; rap sessions, mentorship, outings and prayer. Developing girls that will become role models for Christ. Contact - Sis. Isha Wiltz or Sis. Deinika Jones
• Drama Ministry – A community of Christ centered dramatic artists serving our church neighbors and world.  Contact- Sis. Lorena Walls
  
• Benevolence – The sharing of finances, food, and clothing with members and community as needed  Contact- Sis. Phyllis Whitaker or Sis. Delores Deboest
  
• Audio & Video Ministry – to serve by taping & recording the services and distributing these services through CDs and video.  Contact Bro. Roy Ned
  
• Marriage ministry –strengthening marriages with special teaching, conferences, and bible studies and fellowship.Contact Bro. & Sis Henry Withers
