New Covenant Faith

New Covenant Faith is a family of believers that was organized on May 1st, 2004 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, with Rev. Jimmy R. Stevens as the founding Pastor-Teacher.  With a strong emphasis on anointed worship and teaching of the word of God; in a short span, over 700 members which includes approximately 300 families have banned together in a covenant relationship with God and one another.

New Covenant Faith began with worship services and bible study at Central School of Arts & Humanities Center at 809 Kirby Street in Lake Charles, Louisiana for nine months. The executive offices of the church were housed at 176 Williamsburg Building B University at East McNeese Street.

On February 25th, 2005 the church purchased the Twelfth Street Baptist Church 2233 Twelfth Street in Lake Charles.  The church campus includes four buildings with over 24,000 square feet of space.  The four buildings include a sanctuary, administration building, day-care, and a gymnasium (family life center).

The Church has purchased the four- acre plot of land right next (west) of the present camp for the future expansion of a new worship center and senior- citizen's complex.  Ministry emphasis is on worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministries and mission that are pleasing unto the Lord.  We take great joy in ministering to our 728 members and visitors, building our 404 families and visiting families, but we are waiting to do same in individuals just like you!
